Teen Mothers & Fathers
I'm currently 4 weeks pregnant and I turn 19 in March. I'm super nervous my boyfriend is in the marines and I feel like I'm alone. I'm staying in college for now but I'm not really sure what to do right now. How did you manage all of this?
I am 19 and have one chid and is pregnant with another. I'm getting ready to go back to school after this one id borning. I wanted to get my tubes tied but i cant until i'm 21. I wanted to give this one up because I knew i couldnt take care of her. I want the best for my children my mom told me not to give them away, she will help me in any way she can. It is nice to see there are other teens here going through the same thing. I dont feel so alone now

ooh I know how ya'll feel, once i got pregnant my jr year in high school (age-17) my babys father walked away from it, was barely there unless his parents made him, my family was very mad at me cause i had apparently ruined my life to hear my stepdad say and my friends kinda distanted their selfs except for a few. I had a horrible pregnancy cause i gained sooo much weight 90 pounds to be exact, i had preeclampsia and ended up having a c-section after 3 hours of pushing, and i developed post partum depression, not the kind where you wanna go crazy on your baby, but the kind where you feel alone all the time and just want to cry. my daughter is my world, shes soooo sweet!!!!!!! I gradauted high school, and started college and i also work over 20 hours a week, and have paid for everything for me and her since the beginning, i havent asked for one dime from anyone in years, no one helps me with anything, my family nor babys father doesnt. i do it all they help babysit but thats it, My babys dad has put me through alot from cussing me, cheating, and much much more even now 3 years later i still try so hard to make it work and he treats me the same, the cussing has got better but thats it and ive try numerious times to leave i just cant and i dont know why, im 19 now almost 20 and my daughter is almost 2 , and its just been me and her and we keep each other going, STAY IN SCHOOL! its the best thing, schools will work with you when your pregnant i promise, my guidance counsler was my life savor, its your choice whether to keep your baby but I knew at 17 i couldnt let Kyleigh go from the day i saw a postive on that test, and shes turned out to be the greatest little human being i have ever met, shes looks and acts just like me haha, shes a HUGE mommys girl and is soooo spoiled. If i was to get pregnant again i would keep the baby cause i know from with kyleigh i would just be devasted and i would work even harder to keep us all up, children are such a blessing, they do say your life changes when you have kids but it changes for the better.!
